The following types of Foreign Membership are available:

Foreign Instructors - Registration Form

To apply for any type of Foreign Membership, complete the appropriate Registration Form and return it along with payment to USA Gymnastics. Request for foreign membership must be made no later than 45 days prior to the event.
Foreign Instructors
Who:

This membership is available to individuals who reside outside the United States and wish to take advantage of the benefits of an Instructor Membership, including discounts to USA Gymnastics National Congress, other educational courses and a subscription to Technique magazine.

Foreign Instructors members must be 16 years of age or older.
Benefits:
  • Technique – enjoy a subscription to Technique magazine which feature articles on the technical aspects of the sport including committee minutes, rule updates, sports fitness updates, features on specific skills and techniques and other items that professionals working in the sport need to know!

  • 10% discount on apparel and merchandise sold through USA Gymnastics

  • Member decal

  • Discounts on congresses and educational courses – including the Safety Certification course

    Cost: $70
    Membership Terms:
  • Membership is valid for one year based on the month of registration. For example, if registration is received on June 5, 2008, membership will be valid through June 30, 2009.

  • All fees and memberships are both non-refundable and non-transferable!

  • Normal processing time is 3-4 weeks from the date of receipt.

    FOREIGN ATHLETE / COACH / JUDGE
    Who: This membership is for athletes, coaches, and judges who are non-US Citizens residing in a foreign country. This membership is required in order to participate in a USA Gymnastics sanctioned event.
    Benefits:
  • Ability to compete in USA Gymnastics sanctioned event

  • Secondary insurance coverage

    • Note: No other athlete or professional member benefits are provided.
    Cost: $25 per person
    Membership Terms:
  • All persons participating in a USA Gymnastics sanctioned event must have a USA Gymnastics membership number. This includes all participants from countries other than the United States.

  • The USA Gymnastics competition year runs from August 1 to July 31. Therefore, all memberships expire on July 31.

  • All fees and memberships are both non-refundable and non-transferable!

  • Requests for foreign memberships must be received no later than 45 days prior to the event to ensure processing.

  • Once the memberships are processed, they will be forwarded to the event organizer.
