Note: For new Introductory Coach members, membership is not valid until the individual takes and passes the safety certification course. If an application is submitted prior to completing this requirement, the individual will be placed in Pending Intro Coach status (not valid), which will be changed to a Introductory Coach Membership upon completion of membership requirement.

Introductory Coach members must have valid Safety Certification to maintain an active membership.
At this time, Introductory Coach memberships cannot use the online renewal system. Please follow the directions below in order to Mail or Fax in your renewal information for the Introductory Coach Membership.
Instructions for ADDING a New Introductory Coach Member Online
To register online, follow these steps (this option is only available for clubs)
You will need:
  • 6-digit Club Number and Club Password

  • Completed Introductory Coach membership form or sufficient information for any individuals that you register online

  • Valid credit card

    What you need to know before you start:
    1. Only clubs may apply for new Introductory Coach memberships online.

    2. This process is for individuals who have never been USA Gymnastics members and have never taken any USAG certifications. If the individual has been any type of member (i.e. instructor, athlete, Team USA) or has taken any educational course through USA Gymnastics, they will already have a record in our database. Please, do not create a new record. Contact Member Services at 1-800-345-4719 for further instructions.

    3. A Social Security Number is not required for new members applying online.

    4. You must enter your club number as a six digit number, including a leading zero, if necessary.

    5. You will need a credit card to apply for membership online. We cannot guarantee successful processing if debit cards are used.

    Instructions:
    1. Collect completed Introductory Coach membership form or sufficient information for registration

    2. ADD NEW INTRODUCTORY COACH MEMBER – use this link to register new Introductory Coach members

    3. Log in using your Club Number and Password

    4. Complete the required information for the individual

    5. Provide credit card payment

    6. The individual must complete the Safety Certification Course if he/she has not already done so.

    7. The individual will receive his/her membership card after completing all requirements of membership

  • Print the Introductory Coach Membership Form

  • Fully complete the form

  • Include payment

  • Mail or fax the forms as indicated

  • If you have not already done so, register for and take the Safety Certification Course
