Who: Competitive coaches working with athletes at Levels 1, 2, 3 and/or Pre-Opt for Women’s, Rhythmic, Trampoline & Tumbling, and Acrobatic Gymnastics. Also for coaches of Group Gymnastics Levels A and B, gymfest, and team gym athletes.

Note: For all other levels of competition, a coach must be registered as a Professional Member.

Membership is required for participation in any USA Gymnastics sanctioned event.
Requirements:
  • Individuals applying for Introductory Coach Membership must be 18 years of age or older

  • USA Gymnastics Safety Certification (must re-certify every 4 years)
  • Background Check (must complete screening process every 2 years)

    • Introductory Coach membership will be granted after the application is processed and the individual has successfully completed the Safety Certification Course and the background screening process.

  • First Aid Basic course may be taken at the member rate ($25)

    Cost: For the 2009-10 competitive season (August 1, 2009 – July 31, 2010)

    The costs listed above are for one gymnastics discipline.

    Membership Terms:
  • Membership is valid for one year based on the month of registration. For example, if an individual registers on June 5, 2008, the membership will be valid until June 30, 2009.

  • All fees and memberships are both non-refundable and non-transferable!

    Additional Information:
  • Normal processing time for mailed/faxed registration is 3-4 weeks from the date of receipt in our office and for online registration processing time is 2 business days.

  • As long as a membership number can be verified by our online search, a member is permitted to be on the floor at any USA Gymnastics sanctioned event.
