Note: For new Professional members, membership is not valid until the individual takes and passes the safety certification course and successfully completes a background check. If an application is submitted prior to completing these requirements, the individual will be placed in Pending Pro status (not valid), which will be changed to a Professional Membership upon completion of membership requirements.
Professional members must have valid Safety Certification and background screen to maintain an active membership. If a renewal applications is submitted for an individual with expired or no safety certification and/or background check, the membership will be placed in pending status (not valid), which will be changed to Professional Membership upon completion of the requirements. |

Instructions for ADDING a New Professional Member Online
To register online, follow these steps (this option is only available for clubs) |

6-digit Club Number and Club Password
Completed Professional membership form or sufficient information for any individuals that you register online
Valid credit card

| What you need to know before you start: |
- We suggest that you print out the instructions provided here before proceeding with the online registration process
- Only clubs may apply for new Professional memberships online.
- This process is for individuals who have never been USA Gymnastics members and have never taken any USA Gymnastics certifications. If the individual has been any type of member (i.e. junior professional, instructor, athlete, Team USA) or has taken any educational course through USA Gymnastics, they will already have a record in our database. Please, do not create a new record. Contact Member Services at 1-800-345-4719 for further instructions.
- A Social Security Number is not required for new members applying online.
- You must enter your club number as a six digit number, including a leading zero, if necessary.
- You will need a credit card to apply for membership online.

- Log in using your Club Number and Password
- Complete the required information for the individual
- Provide credit card payment
- The individual must complete the following requirements if he/she has not already done so:
- The individual will receive his/her membership card after completing all requirements of membership

- Membership cards will be mailed within 6-8 weeks of registration

- Include payment
- Mail or fax the forms as indicated
- If you have not already done so,
register for and take the Safety Certification Course
Complete the Background Screening process
