INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., May 6, 2009 – Fans can relive the excitement of the team and individual event finals from the 2009 Women’s NCAA Championships on Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. ET on CBS Sports. The University of Georgia won its 10th team title on the shoulders of Head Coach Suzanne Yoculan and senior Courtney Kupets, who scored a 10.0 on vault and bars. In the individual finals, Kupets earned the bars and beam crowns, as well as tying for first on floor with Louisiana State University’s Ashleigh Clare-Kearney. Clare-Kearney also came away with the individual vault crown.

Kupets, a 2004 Olympic silver-medalist and former U.S. all-around champion, became just the second three-time NCAA all-around champion with a 39.80 all-around score during the preliminary sessions of competition. Her four individual national titles in 2009 tied Kentucky's Jenny Hansen (1995) and Utah's Missy Marlowe (1992) for the most individual championship titles in NCAA history. Kupets, who is a 15-time All-American, entered the championships as a five-time national champion and concluded her career with an NCAA-record nine individual national titles.

The championships were held at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln on April 16-18.
